We’re Nick and Casie Hartley, the proprietors of Compass Point Blend, and we've made Ocean Springs, MS, our home for the past two years with our four children, though the South has always been in our blood. Having lived in New Orleans, Covington, Mobile, Orange Beach, and Orlando, we’ve embraced a love for cooking, fishing, disc golf, and all things outdoors. Compass Point Blend started in 2014 when I, an offshore captain, began crafting a seafood boil that reduced the bloat and swelling from high sodium and fillers while preserving bold flavors. Through trial and error, countless blends, and a few beers with friends, we perfected something special—18 all-natural, preservative-free seasonings that bring the rich flavors of the South to your kitchen without compromise.
