Main Street Collective Vendor Terms & Conditions
MAIN STREET COLLECTIVE VENDOR TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Welcome to Main Street Collective ("Marketplace"). By registering as a vendor, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Vendor Eligibility
To participate as a vendor, you must:
- Be a Mississippi-based small business with a valid Mississippi address
- Provide your complete business address during registration (Mississippi addresses only)
- Commit to maintaining sufficient stock and high-quality product photos that meet Main Street Collective's standards
- Comply with all applicable local, state, and federal laws
Address Verification: If you are found to not be a Mississippi-based business after registration, your membership will be cancelled immediately and you will not receive a refund of any fees paid.
2. Subscription Plans & Fees
- Vendors must select a monthly subscription plan starting at $50/month
- A 10% commission will be retained on all sales
- All fees are non-refundable in cases of membership cancellation due to eligibility violations
3. Order Fulfillment
- Vendors must ship orders within 5–7 business days
- Custom orders may take longer but must include clear communication of processing times
- Vendors must provide tracking numbers where applicable, either manually or via automatic sync
4. Product Quality & Defects
- Vendors are solely responsible for the quality of their products
- Any defects, issues, or problems with vendor products are the vendor's responsibility
- Vendors must handle all product-related customer complaints and resolutions
5. Returns & Customer Service
- Vendors must comply with Main Street Collective's return and refund policies
- Vendors are responsible for responding promptly to customer inquiries related to their products
- Vendors handle all costs and logistics for defective or problematic products
6. Intellectual Property & Marketing
- Vendors retain ownership of their product descriptions, images, and branding
- By joining, vendors grant Main Street Collective a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use product images and descriptions for marketing and promotional purposes
7. Vendor Responsibilities & Legal Compliance
As a vendor with Main Street Collective, you agree to the following:
Active Participation: You commit to actively using and promoting your storefront on Main Street Collective, including participation in events, campaigns, and promotions when possible.
Legal Compliance:
- I acknowledge that I am legally required to abide by the licensing requirements of the State of Mississippi
- I understand that Main Street Collective L.L.C. is not liable for any non-compliance with state or local licensing laws, nor for any legal issues, penalties, or damages resulting from such non-compliance
- I agree to assume full responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and licensing requirements
Commitment to Partnership:
- I confirm my commitment to actively use and sell through Main Street Collective L.L.C.
- I understand that these terms and conditions may be updated at any time and agree to review and adhere to the most current version
- I agree to not hold Main Street Collective L.L.C. liable for changes in platform operations, policies, or updates
8. Profitability Clause & Termination
- If a vendor is not profitable/active within 6 months, Main Street Collective reserves the right to terminate the agreement
- Profitability is defined as MSC earning more in commission from vendor sales than the cost of advertising/supporting the vendor
- Vendors will receive written notice before termination and will have an opportunity to contest
- Membership cancellation due to eligibility violations (non-Mississippi business) results in immediate termination without refund
9. What Main Street Collective Provides Vendors
We're committed to helping your business grow. As a vendor, you'll receive:
- Dedicated Store Page – A personalized storefront within the MSC website
- Advertising & Marketing – A minimum of one ad per month across our social platforms and channels
- Order Management Tools – Access to a shipping label platform to streamline fulfillment
- Business Growth Support – Guidance on product photography, SEO, and stock management
- Sales Tax Handling – MSC will process and remit all required sales tax
- Platform Management – We handle customer transactions, payment processing, and website maintenance
10. Fair Use & Marketing Permissions
Main Street Collective LLC may use or publish information, materials and/or photographs of vendors on its website, social media platforms, in advertisements, and/or in promotional or other materials. This information may include information found on your business or company's website, information submitted by your business or company to Main Street Collective LLC, and/or any other information found from other sources related to your business or company or product.
Use Permit: I do hereby authorize and permit the use of the above-referenced information or materials or photographs of my company, business or product(s) by Main Street Collective LLC. I do further release Main Street Collective LLC from liability for the use of such information, materials and/or photographs in connection with Main Street Collective LLC.
11. Governing Law & Compliance
As a Main Street Collective Vendor, I shall comply with all city, county, state and federal laws, ordinances and/or regulations.
By joining Main Street Collective, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the above terms and conditions.
